  • Lesson 1: The Insecurity Dilemma

Insecure leaders are in bondage to themselves and often self-sabotage their effectiveness. Paranoid that everyone is their enemy, some become bullies, and others become martyrs. Insecurity takes away objectivity. One key to move from bondage to freedom is the realization that 75% of stress in leadership is unnecessary.

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:

    1. Describe how insecurity can lead to self-sabotage, limit objectivity, and inhibit effective leadership.
    2. Employ humility in your leadership style, acknowledging the role of open-mindedness towards criticism and commendation in the development of a secure, confident leader.
