  • Lesson 1: What is Apologetics?

In this lesson, Dr. Adam Blehm introduces the subject of apologetics. Apologetics is a defense of Christian faith. This lesson explains the value of apologetics both as a tool to witness to others and to bolster our own faith. The lesson then shifts into a number of the key rational arguments that have been made throughout the centuries for God’s existence. These include the argument from cause and effect, the argument from design, the argument from miracles, the moral argument, and the ontological argument.

This lesson aims to equip you to:

    1. Describe what apologetics is and why it is helpful.
    2. Explain the Kalaam argument for the existence of God.
    3. Identify several other key arguments for the existence of God.
