  • Lesson 4: The Role of Character in Apologetics

In this lesson, Dr. Blehm discusses two ways in which character relates to apologetics. First, our lives can be a positive witness for Christ. Our lives can attract others to our faith because they find our lives attractive. The opposite can be true as well. The other way in which character is relevant to apologetics is that our attitude as we share arguments for God can work against us if we are not respectful of those with whom we are in conversation. As 1 Peter 3:15 says, we should give our testimony “with gentleness and respect.”

This lesson aims to equip you to:

    1. Commit yourself to live a life that is a positive witness to Christ.
    2. Adopt an attitude of gentleness and respect when sharing your faith.
