  • Lesson 5: Elements of Worldview

The purpose of this lesson is to define what a worldview is in general and, more specifically, to identify the key features of a Christian worldview. A worldview consists of the fundamental assumptions we have that we use to make sense of the world. These include matters like whether we believe there is a God, what we think the nature of right and wrong is, and what a human being might be. As Christians, we have clear answers to these questions. We wholeheartedly affirm the existence of God and see God’s revealed nature as the basis for morality. We also believe humans are created in the image of God and are thus intrinsically valuable, even though in need of redemption. This lesson explores these features of a Christian worldview.
