In this lesson, we discuss how a shepherd walks through conflict with their sheep. Difficulty has a way of revealing the identity of genuine shepherds, as opposed to hired hands or wolves. While shepherds must be present and willing to sacrifice on behalf of their sheep, they also must have courage and boldness to do so effectively.

This lesson aims to equip you to:

1. Identify three key players in church conflict scenarios: a true shepherd, a hired hand, and a wolf. 

2. Face some of your fears about leadership and church conflict, and be encouraged toward boldness. 

3. Pray through difficult conflicts that you may be facing in your leadership scenario and establish a plan to deal with them. 

4. Identify your personal boundaries with regard to church conflict resolution. 

5. Identify your goals with regard to church conflict resolution, determining who, or what, you are trying to protect.
