  • Lesson 2:Why Study the Bible Together

This brief lesson asks a question whose answer is hopefully obvious to you. Why should we study the Bible? We study the Bible to learn about God. We study the Bible to know God’s instruction. We study the Bible to see positive examples of faith as well as examples of failure. We study the Bible to be transformed by our encounter with God in the world

This lesson aims to equip you to:

    1. Articulate the importance of studying God’s word.
    2. Describe how small group meetings have been part of the Wesleyan tradition since the days of John Wesley.
