I agree that both general and special revelation are important and useful, but special revelation is supreme in guiding our understanding of God, thanks to the clarity and authority of Scripture. While our sinful nature can affect interpretation, the margin of error is smaller when we faithfully study the Word and invite the Holy Spirit to guide us.
General revelation, though, is absolutely beautiful. We see God in creation—His creativity, His restorative power, and His ability to bring beauty even from brokenness. This is deeply encouraging for our lives. Yet, special revelation remains the most reliable and powerful way to grow in knowledge and understanding of the Lord.
