I agree the categories of sin bring clarity to an area I too have heard lots of the similar vocabulary. You make it a good point to highlight that particular passage from the textbook as well. It brings attention to the reality that all sin does have an impact, and is important. No sin is insignificant. All sin is the corruption of something God intended for good.
