In this module, we will continue our exploration of the Old Testament historical books, focusing on 1 Kings through Esther. We will examine the basic storyline of each book, including the major events, people, and geographical locations that shape their narratives. Additionally, we will delve into the main ideas, literary structures, and key passages of these books, illuminating their significance within the broader biblical narrative. This exploration will also include providing sound arguments for the historical reliability of the Old Testament historical books. Finally, we will identify the various ways in which the first set of Old Testament historical books points forward to Jesus Christ. By the end of this module, you will have a deeper understanding of the historical books of the Old Testament and be able to articulate their significance within the larger biblical story.
