Make a submission
The purpose of this summative assessment is to gauge your understanding of the entire course. It will test your knowledge of the main topics discussed in each lesson.
Instructions
Throughout the course, you have first thought about biblical values in relation to the foreigner, and you have reflected about any possible blind spots you might have. Then in these last two lessons, you have begun to strategize about how you as an individual and as Christian families might begin or extend your engagement with immigrants around you.
For the MicroBadge, now synthesize your thoughts and develop a strategy into a final document. Your submission should have three main components:
- Present your theology of the immigrant. Include your understanding of Scripture on this topic.
- Indicate your current self-understanding. Have you discovered any blind spots as you have worked through this course? Has God revealed anything to you in your journey?
- What is your strategy? What groups of people, neighborhoods, and individuals is God calling you to “join to” and “go together” with? How are you planning to engage them? Who are you planning to invite to the table? What thresholds are you going to cross to join others?
Write up your thoughts, reflections, and strategies and upload them to the course.
