Lesson 4 Practice

Since Pastor Szmara suggested starting with our families, this is an excellent place for us to camp out in our practice for this week.

• Who are the foreigners in your neighborhood?
• What is the restaurant you could visit that is so easily missed?
• Who is someone in town you encounter regularly whose name you don’t know?
• Who is barely seen at your church that you could invite for a meal?

Write up your initial thoughts on who God might be calling you to engage with intentionality in your environment. You will be refining and developing a strategy in these last lessons. As you reflect on these issues, it is important not to view immigrants as objects or our projects. In all things, we must be careful to approach our immigrant neighbors with respect, care, and humility.
