Read the “Philippian hymn” of Philippians 2:6-11 in several translations, focusing especially on verses 6 through 8. In these verses, Jesus is often considered an example of what is called “servant leadership.” Do a little research on the concept of servant leadership. The classic work in this regard is Robert Greenleaf’s Servant Leadership: A Journey into the Nature of Legitimate Power and Greatness (1977).
