  • Module 5: Change Management

     

     

    Change is inevitable – and often difficult – in church leadership. Whether introducing a new ministry, restructuring teams, or redirecting the vision of the church, leaders must understand both the mechanics and emotions of change. This module explores how to lead change well, minimize resistance, and cultivate a healthy, adaptive church culture. You’ll draw on biblical leadership examples, John Kotter’s 8-step change model, and the work of Kouzes and Posner to learn how to initiate and sustain change with courage and care.

    Learning Outcomes

    By the end of this module, you will be able to:

    • Identify common reasons why change efforts fail in churches.
    • Apply Kotter’s 8-step model of change to real-world ministry settings.
